Abstract

Cultural Heritage and its subcategories National and International Heritage have been increasingly studied by scholars in many disciplines, however, there is limited knowledge about these terms and how they are conceived in society. The purpose of this paper is to produce a systematic literature review, to provide a holistic approach on this subject, to define the concept of Cultural Heritage, and to examine whether it is possible to interrelate it with the terms Security and Strategy in the context of Neo-realist International Relations. It also seeks to examine how Tourist Guide could be considered as a means of transmitting cultural heritage via language style used through the analysis of linguistic theories and principles. It also aims to interrogates the notion if Tourist Guide could be utilized as a construct of state. While its research often lacks theoretical background, Cultural Heritage is characterized by its diversity and complexity as it becomes a global tourism issue. Research should be conducted to investigate how Tourist Guides are used in authoritarian and democratized, in some cases semi- democratized, states and how they influence international relations of countries, through the use of misinformation and cultural propaganda globally in the geopolitical scene.
