A delegation of the Ionian University led by the Rector, Professor Andreas Floros, paid an official visit to China from 18 to 28 September 2024.

Associate Professor Elena Avramidou, member of the UNESCO Chair TCHER Steering Committee has been appointed as Consultant Specialist at the World Sinology Center of Beijing Language and Culture University.

The Rector of the Ionian University, Professor Andreas Floros and the President of Beijing Language and Culture University, Professor Duan Peng signed a Framework Agreement providing for the establishment of a Greek Sinology Center.
