On Thursday, February 15, 2022, the Director of the UNESCO Chair "On Threats against Cultural Heritage and Cultural Heritage Related Activities" of the Ionian University Professor DFLTI Stavros Katsios and Mr. Spyridon Zoumboulidis, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of Corfu People with Disabilities, appreciating the mutual desire of their organizations to work together promoting the crucial role of the individuals with disabilities for the protection of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation.
The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation is to facilitate collaborative educational and research activities for the benefit of both parties, which may include:
• Joint educational, and / or research activities
• Participation in conferences, symposia and seminars
• Exchange of information in areas of interest for both parties
• Joint planning, submission and execution of lifelong learning programs and research proposals
