UNESCO Chair TCHER team at the COST Action CPP4ALL Kick-Off Conference |

On 17-18 February, the team of the UNESCO Chair on Threats to Cultural Heritage participated in the COST Action “Cultural Property Protection for All” Kick-Off Conference, held in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Prof. Kalliopi Chainoglou, Dr Ioannis Blatsos and Athina Fatsea represented the Chair and contributed as experts to the Working Group on Provenance and Traceability, which operates under the supervision of Professor Stavros Katsios, who participated virtually. The discussions focused on strengthening transparency, accountability and traceability mechanisms, while fostering coordinated responses to illicit trafficking and other evolving threats to cultural property.
The conference brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across Europe, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation, legal harmonisation and capacity building in safeguarding cultural heritage at both European and international levels.
