The UNESCO Chair for Threats to the Cultural Heritage of the Ionian University was included following a proposal by the Greek National Commission for UNESCO in the Greek National Delegation for the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO that will take place from November 7 to 22, 2023, at the Organization's Headquarters in Paris. The Greek National Delegation is headed by the Minister of Education.
The UNESCO Chair of the Ionian University will take part in important Commissions of the conference, specifically the Commission of Culture (CLT) and the Commission of Social and Human Sciences (SHS) which will convene on November 15, 16, and 17, 2023.
