UNESCO Chair on Threats to Cultural Heritage participated in the NATO (ACT) Conference "Hybrid Challenges in the Southern Neighborhood"

The Conference on "Hybrid Challenges in the Southern Neighborhood"(Athens 29-31 October 2025) was a NATO (Allied Command Transformation - ACT) event, supported by the Hellenic Ministry of Defense. The purpose of this by-invitation-only experts' conference was to enhance NATO's strategic understanding and collaborative capabilities in addressing hybrid challenges as well as terrorism threats in Southern Neighborhood. The UNESCO Chair on Threats to Cultural Heritage, represented by its holder Professor Stavros Katsios participated as the only UNESCO Chair researching the field of Human Security and Hybrid Actions.
